Doran Wesleyan Church has a long history in the great state of Virginia. Originally founded Pilgrim Holiness Church they joined The Wesleyan Church denomination. And became Doran Wesleyan Church.

Pastor W. Scott Lockard Bth pastored Doran Wesleyan not once, but twice. The second time in 2010. After retiring from Wellman Memorial Wesleyan Church in Louisville Ky he wasn't retired and returned to Virginia until Doran Wesleyan Church asked him to return to DWC.

Sadly Pastor Scott who was fighting liver and kidney disease fought tough and hard, but lost his battle. His son Jason took over after his dad's passing and soon was given the charge to take over where his father left off!

Pastor "J" Jason Lockard has been leading DWC for almost 15 years now.
